Why Defence Cafe ?? (Our Story)
My name is Sudhansu Ranjan Srivastava, and I’m the founder of Defence Cafe.
The Defence Cafe story begins back in 2018 when I first discovered Defence News while searching for current affairs.
It didn’t took me long to fall in love with defence news & geostrategy. With time I developed decent know how about Indian Defence & Geopolitics. Then in 2020 I decided to start an Instagram page by name Defence Cafe & learnt more and more by giving more time and emphasis in studying Defence-Geopolics and sharing my learnings. It was the time when Crowd with interests in defence was expanding and was in search of new platforms where they can consume more defence knowledge in some more innovative way.
Then, came the breakthrough of Defence Cafe as during the lockdown in Covid surge, in search of doing something innovative to make news more interesting such more people start developing interests in Indian Defence, I started to use relatable Memes with News & Boom people were loving the content so very much that we started to get tons of good wishes & support from our followers or better to say DC family.
This was the time I knew How can we develop interests in people about Indian Defence & Geostrategy, From then and till now News with Memes became a brand and on lighter note a copyright of Defence Cafe as People showered so very much of love & support on us that our team expanded to 15+ people, we reached to over 3 Million Defence Lovers through our different platforms, got appreciations from many veterans and defence mentors & we made a happy family of over 14k+ active members.
In the mean time, We started to publish a Free monthly magazine ASPIRANTS; full of defence & current affairs stuff enough for a defence aspirant or a defence lover to fall in love with Indian Defence & it remained free for over an year then to manage our expenses in magazine and in it’s afvertisements we put up the magazine with a much better and well organized table of content & put that up for sale at a very nominal price of only 15 rupees, which is over 10 times less than similar magazines having much less content-quality.
Also, We got opportunity to do advertisements for well known brands like Unacademy, Vishwa Conclave, Some well known Defence Academies and much more.
Our main focus has always been to make Defence & Geopolitics more and more interesting, That’s why I launched Defence Cafe with unique theme of news & memes, as a resource targeted for both defence enthusiasts & common people.
Since our launch, Defence Cafe has become the Most Interesting Defence News Platform in the industry.
