IAF Chief Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari, on the occasion of 90th Air Force Day celebrations said that the induction of air warriors into the IAF through Agnipath Scheme is challenging but also an opportunity to harness the potential of India’s youth and channelise it towards the service of the nation.
“IAF will induct 3,000 ‘Agniveer Vayu’ for initial training in December through Agnipath scheme. It is an opportunity for us to harness the potential of India’s youth and channelise it towards service of the nation,”he said.
The IAF chief also noted that the Indian Air force is planning on inducting woman Agniveers from next year , and added the creation of infrastructure is in progress.
