Maiden Camp at Naval Base INS Shivaji aims towards Nation Building and youth empowerment.
The renowned naval facility INS Shivaji in Lonavala has hosted the All India Nau Sainik Camp 2023 (AINSC 2023), concluding the yearly 10-day competition amongst the top young cadets from 17 Directorates across the country. This time, the Maharashtra Directorate of NCC is the organization behind the AINSC.
Lt Gen Gurbirpal Singh AVSM, VSM, DG NCC, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are proud of the achievement of the cadets during AINSC 2023 at INS Shivaji. This event not only highlights the incredible talent of our young cadets but also strengthens the spirit camaraderie among the participants. The support and resources provided by Headquarters, Southern Naval Command & INS Shivaji for this camp are a reflection of their true commitment towards Nation Building.”
The cadets participated in a wide range of physical and mental challenges at this year’s events, including exercises, seminars, and competitions aimed at improving their leadership abilities. Maharashtra Dte won the competition this year, with AP & Telangana Dte coming in second.
