AFSPA withdrawn from 65% of Assam’s geographical space, says Chief Minister Sarma

Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma mentioned provisions of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) had been withdrawn from 65% of the geographical space of the state.
