In the Air Force Stations in Arjan Singh (Panagarh), Kalaikunda, and Agra, the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the United States Air Force (USAF) are participating in a bilateral air exercise called Exercise Cope India 23.
The purpose of the exercise is to improve communication and cooperation between the two Air Forces and to exchange best practises.
Today marked the start of the first stage of the workout.
The exercise’s air mobility-focused phase will incorporate transport aircraft and Special Forces resources from both Air Forces.
The C-130J and C-17 aircraft will be used by both sides, and the USAF will also fly an MC-130J.
Aircrew from the Japanese Air Self Defence Force will also be present during the drill, but only as observers.
