On March 15, a ceremony was organised at Air Force Station New Delhi to honour IAF athletes who had excelled in national and international competition. The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, attended the event as the chief guest. During the occasion, 26 athletes who had won medals at national and international competitions, three Indian Air Force teams who had won Inter Services and National Championships, and support staff were also recognised.
During the ceremony, the CAS also unveiled the Indian Air Force Sports Brochure, highlighting the achievements of IAF sportsmen.
The CAS praised the IAF athletes for their outstanding performances in his speech. He praised the athletes and gave them the go-ahead to keep up their hard work and bring honour to the IAF in the sporting world.
