On September 22, 2023, the first “Joint Doctrine Review Conference – 2023” (JDRC-2023) took place in the Manekshaw Center. Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, the Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Doctrine Organization and Training), presided over the meeting.
This important conference was the first of its kind and had the dual goals of advancing joint doctrine development and bridging communication gaps between Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) and the three Services. Sharing best practices and ongoing initiatives on doctrinal issues were also aided.
The Conference took place across two sessions, during which time participants discussed the joint doctrine formulation process and examined current and upcoming joint and service doctrines on a range of topics, including cyberspace, amphibious operations, and space exploration. The meeting met its stated objectives and was successful.
Subject Matter Experts from the Doctrine Development Agency of HQ IDS and the three Services, as well as representatives from reputable Think Tanks, attended the conference.
There is visibly a bundle to identify about this. I feel you made some good points in features also.
