On June 1st, Air Commodore Vinay Pratap Singh handed over control of Air Force Station Hindan to Air Commodore Sanjay Chopra. On this occasion, a magnificent parade was held.
In December 1995, Air Commodore Sanjay Chopra received his appointment as an Indian Air Force helicopter pilot. He has more than 4700 hours of flight time, is a qualified flying instructor, and graduated from the College of Air Warfare in Secunderabad. The Air Officer has held a number of operational positions as well as the leadership of a helicopter unit and a flying station. He has been awarded the Vayu Sena Medal.
