The 21st meeting of the India-France Military Sub Committee (MSC) took place at the Air Force Station in New Delhi on October 16 and 17, 2023. Air Vice Marshal Ashish Vohra, Assistant Chief of Integrated Staff (Military Cooperation) at HQ IDS, and Major General Eric Peltier, General Officer, International Military Relations of the Joint Staff, co-chaired the meeting from the French and Indian sides, respectively.
The India-France MSC is a platform created to advance defense cooperation between the two countries through routine strategic and operational discussions between the Joint Staff HQ of the French Armed Forces and the Integrated Defence Staff at HQ.
The meeting was conducted in a pleasant, welcoming, and friendly environment. The discussions centered on improving current defense engagements and launching new initiatives within the framework of the existing bilateral defense cooperation system.
