The yearly India-UK Defence Consultative Group (DCG) meeting was co-chaired by Defence Secretary Shri Giridhar Aramane and UK counterpart Mr. David Williams, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, on November 24, 2023, in New Delhi.

They talked about a wide range of regional security concerns, examined the current defense cooperation initiatives, talked about the circumstances and possible collaboration in the Indian Ocean region, and talked about options for defense industrial cooperation in the areas of missile systems and electric propulsion, among other things.

With an emphasis on cooperative exercises, marine domain awareness, and information sharing, both parties prepared for an increase in interactions and cooperative operations in the maritime domain. They appreciated the commencement of the India UK 2+2 Foreign and Defence Dialogue, and the increased pace of military to military engagements in all domains.

Later, Mr. David Williams honored the Bravehearts by laying a wreath at the National War Memorial.

  1. I’ve been surfing online more than three hours these days, yet I by no means discovered any interesting article like yours. It¦s beautiful value sufficient for me. In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made excellent content material as you probably did, the net will be much more helpful than ever before.
