A Su-30MKi and Mirage 2000 aircraft have crashed near Morena, Madhya Pradesh. The two aircrafts had taken off from the Gwalior air base in Madhya Pradesh for an exercise, .ANI is reporting that two pilots are safe while an IAF chopper reaching the location of the 3rd pilot soon. Su-30MKi had two pilots while Mirage had one.
On today morning two planes one Su30 mki and one Mirage 2000 went takeoff for a training sortie together for a exercise, As situation prevailed two fighters collided in mid air due to some technical snag devloped in one of the fighter, 3 pilots have reported to be ejected in total and IAF is rescueing the pilots at a fast pace.
The mirage fell in Bharatpur Rajasthan after the collision.
“Two fighter aircraft of IAF were involved in an accident near Gwalior today morning. The aircraft were on routine operational flying training mission. One of the three pilots involved, sustained fatal injuries. An inquiry has been ordered to determine the cause of the accident,” said IAF in a tweet.
Hope for the speedy recovery of other two pilots.
