JK: The 74th Republic Day is celebrated by the Indian Army in the snow-covered Gulmarg Sector.

In the Gulmarg Sector of Jammu & Kashmir, Indian Army personnel, National Cadet Corps Cadets, and local schoolchildren from Gulmarg celebrated the 74th Republic Day. The Indian Army celebrated Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav with a weapon exhibition and a number of entertaining activities for the students. Col. Gurpreet Singh, SM, the recipient of the Gallantry Award, gave a speech before the flag was hoisted and weapons were shown.

The SHO and the GDA CEO were among the civil authorities present. The connection between Indian Army soldiers and students marked the event’s conclusion and served as motivation. Despite the region’s subzero temperatures and difficult weather, students’ enthusiasm was evident.

These events will inspire the Jammu and Kashmiri youth, which will aid in nation-building efforts. On the occasion of the 74th Indian Republic Day, the Border Security Force and the Pakistan Rangers exchanged sweets earlier in the day at the International Border.

The IB staff in Jammu and Kashmir swapped treats with Pakistani commandos in the RS Pura neighbourhood. Rajnath Singh, the defence minister, also gave the staffers candy. He also tweeted Happy Republic Day to everyone.

Salute to all Indian freedom warriors and constitution-makers, Rajnath Singh tweeted. The Border Security Force (BSF) and the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) exchanged sweets on the celebration of the 74th Republic Day at the India-Bangladesh Border in Siliguri, West Bengal.

Shailendra Singh, Company Commander of the 176 Battalion, told ANI that in order to maintain good relations between the two countries, they had traded sweets with the border guards at Bangladesh. The Attari-Wagah border in Amritsar, Punjab, was engulfed in patriotic fervour earlier in the day, and the BSF gave Pakistan Rangers sweets there.

The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the BSF unfurled the Tricolor a few metres from the zero line and Pakistan posts, sending a clear statement that the country’s flag will continue to fly. In an interview with ANI, BSF commandant Jasbir Singh expressed happy republic day greetings to all citizens and noted that JCP Attari had developed a special identity as a national symbol. A retreat ceremony is held here every evening, and thousands of people visit every day to boost the morale of the staff.

He claimed that numerous events had been held here, and that the Pakistan Rangers had also been given sweets. On Thursday, President Droupadi Murmu presided over the nation’s 74th Republic Day celebrations from New Delhi’s Kartavya Path.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi was the Chief Guest at the parade.
