Over 100 cadets, including 35 women inducted into Army

Over 100 cadets, including 35 women, have been inducted into the Army at a passing-out parade held on the Officers Training Academy right here on Saturday. Eight gents cadets and 28 women from pleasant nations additionally accomplished their coaching.

A army parade and a drill of the cadets marching to martial tunes marked the ceremony, a press launch stated.

Ahead of the completion of coaching, the cadets underwent one-year coaching.

The Royal Bhutan Army chief operation officer Lieutenant General Batoo Tshering reviewed the passing-out parade.

Tshering complimented the officer-cadets on the Academy and exhorted them to stick to the army values of selfless service and attempt for excellence of their endeavours.

Academy Under-Officer M Pavithra obtained the sword of honour whereas Gourav Saklani the gold medal. Junior Under-Officer Shubham Mallikarjun Nesaragi bagged the bronze medal.
