Commemorating the 25th anniversary of India’s triumph in the Kargil War, the ‘Heart to Bravehearts’ car rally was launched on July 11, 2024, from Cariappa Parade Ground, Delhi Cantonment, by Lieutenant General Bhavnish Kumar, General Officer Commanding, Delhi Area.
The ‘Heart to Bravehearts’ Car Rally honours the bravery, tenacity, and sacrifices made by Kargil War heroes in observance of Rajat Jayanti. On June 30, 2024, the Car Rally was concurrently flagged off from Tanot Border Post, Tezu, and Kochi Port. Its purpose was to convey messages from civilians to the nation’s soldiers, particularly those stationed at the frontiers.

The groups met in Delhi on July 9 and left today to continue their journey to the Kargil War Memorial in Dras. Before coming to an end at the Kargil War Memorial on July 15, 2024, the rally will travel more than 10,000 kilometres.
The Rally passes through various military stations en-route and felicitates the brave soldiers of the Indian Army. The Flag-off and Flag-in ceremonies at all prominent places are being conducted in the presence of serving personnel, Veterans, Veer Naris, and family members of the Bravehearts and eminent dignitaries. The Kargil War Veterans and Veer Naris are being felicitated recognising their sacrifices and unwavering support during the war.
The Indian Army, in partnership with Mahindra & Mahindra, sponsored this rally, which is carrying messages from the people in the shape of letters, poetry, sketches, and other artistic expressions. They bring with them the tales of bravery, selflessness, and patriotism as the Rally travels the length and breadth of the nation. The Rally is also carrying the gestures in the shape of notes, messages, posters, and photos that are gathered at Mahindra & Mahindra stores throughout India. The campaign is an authentic appeal and chance for all Indians to show their gratitude to the Indian Armed Forces.
