Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a ‘Maharatna’ and Fortune Global 500 company, announced today the installation of 19 EV Fast-Charging stations at 110 fuel stations along 15 highways in Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.
In Kerala, the company has opened three corridors with 19 fuel stations, six corridors with 33 fuel stations in Karnataka, and ten corridors with 58 fuel stations in Tamil Nadu.
These corridors will connect important religious and tourist destinations such as Tirupathi in Andhra Pradesh and Bandipur National Park in Karnataka; Ranaganthaswamy Temple and Jambukeswar Temple with cities. Famous religious sites visited in Kerala include Guruvayoor and Kadampuzha temples, Vallarpadam National Shrine of Basilica, St.Church, Antony’s Koratty and Markaz Knowledge City, Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu, and Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai, among others.
