PM Modi emphasised the Centre’s efforts to lift India’s poorest citizens by expanding banking and sanitation infrastructure at the summit.According to the news agency PTI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Friday that India has demonstrated incredible resilience and set an example of an anti-fragile system in its fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
PM Modi emphasised the Centre’s efforts to lift India’s poorest citizens by expanding banking and sanitation infrastructure at the 7th edition of the Economic Times Global Business Summit 2023. “Our government transferred Rs 28 lakh crore through DBT under welfare schemes,” he said.
Speaking about the pandemic, PM Modi stated: “In last 3 yrs, when world was suffering sometimes from Corona, sometimes from war & sometimes from the challenges of natural disasters, India & Indians displayed unprecedented strength.India has shown the world the real meaning of anti-fragile,” ANI reported.
