Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Karnataka’s culture, language, and people on Wednesday, citing the power of a “double engine” government as one of the reasons for the state’s rapid growth in several sectors. The Prime Minister’s emphasis on “double engine” government (the same party in government at both the State and the Centre) while delivering the inaugural address via video conferencing at the three-day Global Investors’ Meet, ‘Invest Karnataka 2022,’ gains significance as the State goes to polls in about five months.
