An encounter occurred in the forest area of Chhattisgarh between a joint party of Indo-Tibetan border police and district reserve guard and naxals.
Security forces recovered two IEDs during a search operation in the area, which were later defused on the spot. On March 23, an encounter occurred in the forests near the Konta Police Station in Kottalendra, Sukma, according to Superintendent of Police Sunil Sharma.
According to the SP, 5 naxals were arrested and 4-5 were injured.
