The Australian Army force, which is made up of members of the 2nd Division’s 13th Brigade, has arrived at the drill site. The Dogra Regiment is made up of soldiers who represent the Indian Army.
The Indian Army and the Australian Army will undertake their first combined military exercise in Rajasthan from November 27 through December 11, with an emphasis on “Peace Keeping Operations” as per the UN mandate.
The event, dubbed “AUSTRAHIND-2022,” will involve every arm and service component from both armies and will be held at the Mahajan Field Firing Ranges.

Exercise to be conducted annually –
The AUSTRAHIND will be an annual competition held alternately in Australia and India.
According to the press release, the exercise’s goals are to strengthen military ties, share best practices, and foster the ability to work together while conducting multi-domain operations in semi-desert terrain in support of a UN peace enforcement mandate.
