CHANGE OF COMMAND OF AIR FORCE STATION FARIDABAD

On June 5th, during a proper ceremony at the Air Force Station, Group Captain Kapil Sharma succeeded Group Captain KS Ganesh as commander.

In December 1997, Group Captain Kapil Sharma received his appointment in the Indian Air Force’s Logistics division. Throughout his military career, he has held a variety of positions at operational bases and base repair depots. He has taken courses in strategic management and acquisition management for the military. Additionally, he has taken the College of Defence Management’s Higher Defence Management Course at Secunderabad. He has received praise for his exceptional service from the Chief of Air Staff and Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief.

For Western Air Command, Air Force Station Faridabad serves as a crucial logistics hub. It offers various IAF units vital logistical support.
