Mr. Aden Bare Duale, Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Defense, landed in New Delhi on August 28, 2023, to begin a three-day trip to India. On August 29, Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh will meet with his Kenyan counterpart. During his visit, the dignitary is scheduled to stop by the defense businesses in Goa and Bengaluru as well as Indian shipyards.

Cabinet Secretary Duale is making his first trip to India, and Kenya is hosting the highest-level stand-alone political visit since the new administration took office in September 2022. The visit demonstrates the value India places on its relationships with African countries, particularly the expanding cooperation between India and Kenya. It is anticipated to create new opportunities for the two nations’ defense cooperation to grow.
