From September 20–21, 2023, the INS Sahyadri, an indigenously built warship of the Indian Navy, which was on a mission in the Indo-Pacific, took part in the first trilateral maritime partnership exercise with planes and ships from the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) and Indonesian Navy.

The trilateral exercise gave the three maritime states a chance to solidify their alliance and increase their capacity to support an Indo-Pacific area that is stable, peaceful, and secure. The exercise gave the participating fleets the chance to learn from one another’s experience and knowledge. To train the crew and improve interoperability, intricate tactical and manoeuvring drills, cross-deck visits, and cross-deck landings of integrated helicopters were carried out.

The third ship in the Project-17 class of multirole stealth frigates, INS Sahyadri, was built at Mazagon Dock Ltd. in Mumbai and is commanded by Capt. Rajan Kapoor.

  1. This blog is definitely rather handy since I’m at the moment creating an internet floral website – although I am only starting out therefore it’s really fairly small, nothing like this site. Can link to a few of the posts here as they are quite. Thanks much. Zoey Olsen
