Uttar Pradesh signs a USD 1 billion deal with Singapore’s SLG Capital to establish a data centre in Noida.

The Uttar Pradesh government has signed a number of agreements with Singapore-based investors ahead of the UP Global Investors Summit (UPGIS)—the state government’s annual investor meet scheduled for February 2023.

In one such significant deal, the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (Noida) has signed a memorandum of agreement (MoU) worth USD 1 billion with Singapore’s SLG capital for setting up a data centre in the NCR region, said Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA).

The Uttar Pradesh government has signed a number of agreements with Singapore-based investors in advance of the UP Global Investors Summit (UPGIS), the state government’s annual investor meeting, which is set to take place in February 2023.
