On December 12th, 2023, INS Kadmatt arrived at Manila, Philippines, as part of the continuing Long Range Op Deployment. India and the Philippines want to strengthen their marine cooperation, which is why they are visiting.
There will be a wide range of planned interactions between both ships’ staff during the port call. To improve collaboration and share best practices, these include cross-deck visits, professional contacts, and subject matter expert exchanges. Visits by school children and community outreach/ social impact activities are also planned during the visit.
Following its departure from Manila, INS Kadmatt and BRP Ramon Alcaraz, an offshore patrol vessel of the Philippine Navy, are slated to participate in a Maritime Partnership Exercise in the South China Sea.
