On August 21, 2013, Admiral R. Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff, visited Naval Base Karwar. At the Amadhalli and Arga navy Bases, respectively, CNS opened two residential structures totaling 600 flats during the visit in the presence of numerous families of navy personnel and defense civilians.

In order to achieve an IGBC Gold Rating, the 10 residential towers have been equipped with contemporary facilities, upgraded interiors, landscaping, and external services. The ongoing Phase IIA of Project Seabird, which will accommodate some 10,000 uniformed and civilian troops with families, includes the development of this infrastructure.

Numerous direct and indirect jobs have been generated by the current construction. The project supports the government of India’s “AatmaNirbharBharat” effort by procuring more than 90% of its materials domestically.

The CNS commended Project Seabird’s efforts to build top-notch defense infrastructure and encouraged swift completion of the remaining facilities.

  1. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
